The brief
Risk Live North America reunites risk management and risk transfer professionals from across the capital markets industry to benchmark, share insights and reconnect.
The Risk.net marketing team created a targeted marketing campaign that included digital advertising, newsletters and social channels to cross-promote the event.
What we delivered
The digital advertising plan included standard mixed format creatives and the new video billboard that were geo-targeted to North America. Video billboards are featured in a high visibility ad position that is above the fold across the Risk.net website.
The results
The video billboard outperformed the standard mixed format creatives with:
- a click-through rate of 5 times the usual rate that we see for a billboard.
- The engagement (clicks, hovers, scrolls, video plays etc.) was 3 times the standard billboard rate
- more than 77% of the video billboards were viewed for longer than 5 seconds, which is higher than our benchmark view rate.
The campaign had a strong performance with plans for the next campaign to include an upweight of the video billboards as they proved popular with Risk.net website visitors.
